Real life ATAK™ application

The ATAK™ has been running pretty strong on my rig without falling out, and I beat shit around. However, I do have to give credit to Tactical Medics Group. The incident the other day on our range was mitigated by the ATAK™ in that it caused me to fold the C-A-T® tourniquet out if its packaging and prep it for application to a leg wound. This dramatically sped up the process of applying the tourniquet, allowing me to apply it within seconds of the injury. The Ambidextrous Tourniquet Attachment Kydex – ATAK™ is a small light weight rapid acquisition tourniquet retention device.

What Our Customers Have To Say Experienced and enjoyed by thousands people. Here’s what they think.

I just completed 3 weeks of high intensity Pre Deployment Training (PDT). The weather was bad, with 3 weeks of rain at the end I was left dead tired. I tested the ATAK intensively and it is amazing! I had to search for the ideal position on my load bearing vest and found it. We tested it during life fire exercises, Immediate Action Techniques in or out of vehicles, TCCC, green on blue exercises, …I never lost the CAT! It was always easy to reach and when I performed the MARCH procedure. I also mounted a ATAK™ to my Belgium Army issued IFAK.

I just recently had a TCCC training and used the ATAK™ plenty times in this configuration, no problems occurred.

It’s working perfectly. It’s not taking up a lot of room on the belt, and I haven’t noticed a difference from originally having the tourniquet hair-tied to my belt. I haven’t gotten into any scuffles or anything major, but as of right now, I feel the tourniquet is very secure on my belt. UPDATE: Just got into a scuffle where my pistol mags and a pair of handcuffs came off my belt. However, tourniquet never budged. Good piece of equipment.
